Tagger Version 2.4 Release Notes

As of yesterday, Version 2.4 of Tagger is on the AppExchange! Although not a major change, Version 2.4 includes a number of enhancements that will make Tagger even easier to use.

Enhancements

• Default Name Field: When creating a new record from Tagger search input, Tagger now will default the "Name" field to match the search term to avoid redundant data entry, and save your users ( with Create permission) time!
• Read Only CMDT Field: Allow "Read Only?" CMDT field for individual Tagger Target Filters instead of only allowing "Read-Only?" at the Tagger Component CMDT level to allow more refined customization of which Tagger Target Filters allow Create/Delete and which are Read Only.
• Target Object Navigable: Define "Target Object Navigable?" for individual Tagger Target Filters instead of only allowing "Target Object Navigable?" at Tagger Component level to allow more refined customization of which Tagger Target Filters allow navigation to Target records upon click of a Tag.
• Allow Reports and Search: Show option for "Allow Reports" and "Allow Search" when creating new Objects in Tagger Setup to allow Admins to more easily restrict viewing access.
• Automatic Redirect: Automatically redirect to the Tagger Target Filter custom metadata record page after save on the Tagger Setup page to save time navigating through Setup manually.
• Default Developer Name: Default Tagger Filter Developer Name to Source Object + Target Object to prevent issues when creating a multi-lookup Tag object.
